1.CE certification

Core Requirements :

RED Directive : Radio equipment must comply with the EN 18031 cybersecurity standard (mandatory on August 1, 2025), disable default passwords, enforce TLS 1.3+ encryption, and resist DDoS attacks.

LVD Directive : Electrical safety (AC 50-1000V/DC 75-1500V equipment).

EMC Directive : Electromagnetic Compatibility.

Grading requirements :

Level 1 (low risk): only EMC report is required (such as Bluetooth headsets)

Level 2 (Medium Risk): EMC + Safety Report (such as 240V home appliances)

Level 3 (high risk): SAA certificate + EESS registration (such as power adapter) is required.

Label specification : RCM mark height ≥ 3mm, EESS code required.

2. Japan

PSE Certification :

Diamond (mandatory): high voltage equipment (such as charging piles)

Round (voluntary): Low voltage equipment (such as lithium batteries).

3. South Korea

KC certification : covers safety, EMC, and energy efficiency, and requires localized testing.

4. India

BIS certification : Full-chain traceability (products + raw materials must be certified) will be enforced from October 2025, with a focus on controlling 151 types of products such as stainless steel.

5. ASEAN

Mutual Recognition Agreement (MRA): Thailand TISI and Indonesia SNI certification are preferred, and some certificates can be transferred and mutually recognized.
